very interesting. Ive been reading up on this from several other sites as well. Of course, its still in the rumour stage but traveling real fast around at this moment. Everybodys talkin about the RJ to boston and nomar to chisox in a 3 way deal...

I've got a logical comment for anyone who has thought/said RJ should/would rather go to the yankees over the sox. If Randy goes to the yankees and brings them a championship, big dealso hwat its just another championship. If he goes to the sox and brings them to a championship, its the first in 86 years, thus hed be remembered much more by many more if he did. Seems logical to me, if in fact he is desiring a trade. Plus the whole Schilling thing (being here) helps....seems to me like rumor or no rumor, logically, he would rather come to the sox.

Frank thomas could be out for the season so another right handed bat would be fitting for the white sox. They would either dh valentin, or move him to third where hes played b4 and either bench crede or include him in the trade.

I still think they need starting pitching a LOT more than another bat. They should be going after Unit themselves. If they landed Unit, even without Frank for a while, they will be poised for WS contention.

Sox still rocked without Mags and I think Mags is a more important cog in the offense than Frank.
