Just heard a rumor that the Red Sox have a press conference scheduled for this afternoon. At this point, it's just a rumor. Chicago would be sending prospects to AZ.

Do you have a link or a source? Hard to believe the Sox have a news conference about this when there's no link.

Do the White Sox have any great prospects left? I know they have Borchard...but I would think it would take more than that. Seems they used their best one already (Reed) to get Garcia.

From a friend. I can't find anything else on the internet about it but if it's going I'd think there will be more rumblings pretty soon.

Y'all need to chill on the skepticism. I said there was a rumor of a press conference, that's it, I know nothing more about the validity.

Selig would need to approve the deal first, so there is no way the Sox could call a press conference today. I doubt there is any truth to this.
