All-Star Game Predictions?

Postby biju » Mon Jul 12, 2004 3:13 pm

Anyone got any predictions for the game? My three are:

- Giambi doesn't get a hit
- The AL pitchers have more combined strikeouts than the NL
- The NL wins

I don't see how anything could be more scary than Clemens, Johnson, Schmidt, then Gagne

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Eric Gagne blows another all-star game save when Hank Blalock hits a home run. 8-o

To me the AL batting lineup looks stronger and more in form than does the NL.

I also think Clemens will be hittable in his 2 innings stint which will be the difference in the game.

AL will win it 6-4.
