Help at 2b!!!!!!!!!!

Postby Tactics » Sun Apr 13, 2003 11:40 am

I have Junior Spivey at 2B and he is doing terribly. I want to pick someone up off FA, but I dont know who. The people on free agency are:

D'Angelo Jiminez, Mark Ellis, Placido Polanco, Eric Young, Chris Stynes, Frank Catalanotto, Jerry Hairston, and many others.

The ones that are taken are:

Soriano, Durham, Vidro, Boone, Walker, Castillo, Kent, Biggio, Boone, Alomar and Bellhorn.

What should I do?????

depends on what u need think of ellis as a david eckstein ie multiple hits sbs but little power and catalanotto as a big hitting little speed guy young also gives u speed but he is playing for a worser team (worser wow thats not even a word) so i agree wit tlong that ellis or cat are the way to go although i would keep an eye on how jimenez does

I think that Giles will have a good year and would be a good backup.

pwr go giles
average go polanco
steals go hairston

Catalanotto would be my pick. He's hot right now and his multiple position eligibility is great. You can play him at first, second, or outfield so he's great on the bench even when you're not using him.
It's time to roll the dice.
