Got to be Field of Dreams....2 summers ago I visited the real field in Iowa where the movie was shot. 11 AM on a Friday and there's FIFTY PEOPLE on the field....just playing catch...dad's pitching to kids, people just assuming positions on the diamond and playing ball. It was one of the coolest experiences of my life. I still get goosebumps thinking about it.

61*
FoDreams is a good movie, but i'm not sure the "quality" of the movie is because its baseball..
*61 allows you to see maris as the underdog and when he gets the record all seems right in the world..
FoDreams has the whole Costner v. Father subplot (as well as other subplots) which takes away from the baseball plot..

I really liked Field of Dreams. It was hugely about baseball. I really enjoyed the way it showed some of the old-time players playing the game for the love of it rather than for the money.
The Natural would probably be my number 2 baseball movie.
