This may sound strange... but if teams actually had the literal interpretations of themselves, how would they fair?
EXAMPLE
Away Team - St. Louis Cardinals (a group of birds)
VS.
Home Team - Kansas City Royals (some kings, queens, etc.)
-since the royals are home it would be played in a castle.
btw I don't mean a baseball game, more of a last team standing type of thing.
In this match I think the pampered royalty would fall to the dangerous swooping attacks from the birds. Even in the friendly confines of a castle the redbirds would be too swift to stop.
Wow, this may very well be the worst post ever.

a friend of mine, who knows vary little about college basketball, filled out a bracket a couple of years back. In essence it was a rock-paper-scissors kind of a bracket based on mascots/nicknames.
animal vs. animal follows the food chain
human vs. human follows relative strength etc
super-human same as human.
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.

Cubs vs. Devil Rays winner would go to the home team.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
