Mark Teixeira batting fifth

Postby JOEG » Sun Jul 11, 2004 2:35 pm

I am so sick of Young/Hank/Alf getting a nice really going and having Fullmer crap it away with Tex on deck! Why do they have him 5th and Fullmer cleanup? Someone please explain this? Fullmer 4 left on base in 2 innings now! 3 in scoring position

His name is Mark Teixeira...but yeah I agree with you. Fullmer is terrible and actually shouldn't even have a spot, they have too many talented young OFers who need everyday playing time to waste it on a middle-aged infielder who sucks.

Pet Peave number one - someone telling me how to drive
A close number two - spelling corrections

But I do agree on Fullmer - can't he just suffer his usual injury and mover Tex up?

Telling you his name is Mark, not Mike, isn't a spelling correction. An example of a spelling correction would be telling you the word is 'peeve', not 'peave.'

Who cares. Anybody with half a brain would know who the post is about. It's not like he's talking about Mike or Mark Sweeney.

Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.

I wouldn't call it a venting, it's more of a question of why Fullmer is batting before one of the emerging power hitters in baseball which great diminsihes his fantasy value!

Can I add wrong forum BS to my pet peave list

LOL and I agree, spelling correction is one thing but calling him Mike is just disrespectful. Say M. Teixeira if you are not sure.
