OMG Griffey had a hamstring injury? Geez didn't see this coming.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
things have a way of working themselves out.
now it would only be fair if Giambi caught a three day flu
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.

Okay, so the Philadelphia thing wasn't great. No heart doesn't quite say it, it's more greed. But if Philly didn't want to pay his price, that's their loss.
He tends to get injured a hell lot. His body's more fragile. Nobody knows JD's body more than JD. He knows if he can or cannot play. That's not for you to judge. Some can play through injuries, some can't.
He doesn't show many emotions on the field. That doesn't mean he doesn't have heart. You don't have to be like Tejada or Milton Bradley to show that you love the game. You don't have to wear a bigass smile on your face all day long to show you love the game. Some have different ways of expressing things. Drew is a more calm, cool, and collected type of person. That's his personality, it's not a lack of heart. Consequently, he's a pretty clutch player with his veins of ice.
I truly am appalled and amazed how much JD is hated around the game.
