What happened to this guy's speed? He was stealing everything during the first month. Now that his BA is back in the .300s, he's doing nothing. Does he no longer have the green light?

I dunno. I think he got a steal last night but yeah, he doesn't seem to be nearly as agressive as he was earlier in the season. I'm also waiting for Edgar to really kick into gear. Probably not wanting to risk making an out ahead of the rbi machines Pujols and Rolen...

Since the end of May, Womack has hit .370. He's scored 24 runs, hit a couple of HR's, and driven home 14. Only a couple of SB's, but so what?

Any Womack owner who isn't ECSTATIC over what he's getting across the board should be banned from ever owning a fantasy team again. If he stops hitting and still doesn't steal, then maybe you've got a beef. But as long as he's rolling like he has in a first half that has to beyond anyone's wildest expectations (including mine and I've owned him in my main league since opening day), there just can't be any complaints about this guy.

As for why he isn't stealing, well, based on the runs he's scoring, I guess he doesn't need to. When you're hitting ahead of Pujols, the best move is to just wait for him to knock you in.
