Aaron "Boom" Harang pitched 7.2 shutout innings today with 10 strikeouts while only allowing 5 hits and a walk.
He is currently on a streak where he has only allowed 1 earned run in his last 18.2 innings, while striking out 21 batters with a WHIP below 1.
I remember this kid being talked up a little last year. He's on a hot streak right now, even if it is against the Brewers, the Pirates and the Indians.
In my 12 team league good pitching is hard to find off the wavier wires. I played him today and it paid off, but it was a pretty risky move. I recommend people to keep an eye on this kid after the break, to see if this isn't just a fluke.
Just wanted to your guy's thoughts and give a heads up for people in deeper leagues.
