Their ERA's are close, but Gordon has a much better WHIP, and also has 22 holds to Rincon's 8. Since he's pitching in a more important time of the game, I think he gets the benefit of the doubt. It's like comparing two guys with similar stats if one was a closer and one was a setup man; it's like a step down. Plus he has a better ERA, WHIP, and more holds........Gordon is better. Although it's be nice not to have so many Yankees on the team, that's what happens when they buy all the All-Stars.
