However, this guy is also the guy pulling vetoes on just about any trade I do. Durham+Morris for Zito earlier in the year...etc. I'd be surprised if he didn't veto my Berkman+Graves for Pujols, Cordero+B. Roberts for Foulke, etc. He plays with the veto button like a toy. Which leads me to reconsider. Looking at it again, it does seem a bit off. If the standard for vetoing has now been lowered, well...this is vetoable.
Now, Figgs steals like Pierre, with 3B eligibility. Herges is one of the worst closers, if not the worst closer now that Biddle and Koch are gone. So...?

I can see that you are trying to get revenge on that guy for trying to ruin trades in your league. But if you make a fuss over this trade and try to veto it, things probably will only get worse. Let it go, maybe he will grow up.
its mid season, this is the time when people kill, overpay and have heart attacks for cats like saves and steals. maybe the guy giving up Figgins is desperate for saves. leaning towards one side? yep. vetoable? no.
anyways, i agree with rirruto.. whats the diif between you and him if you also do the same thing ?
just put in a tiny bit more time, beat his team and you got the bragging rights.
i dont think it'll be too hard when a guy is this childish...
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.
