Does anyone know of a free site that has 2nd half stats from last year?

If you're looking for individual 2nd half splits from last year ESPN and Yahoo have them.

espn.com and yahoo to name a few. Just search for a players name, and look up the splits from the 2003 season. They will show a lot of different stats, including 1st and 2nd half stats.
