How's your first round pick doing for your team?

Manny Ramirez IS my team at times. I'm very pleased with his consistency so far.

I'm in three other leagues, but those were not conducted through the usual snake draft.

WOW! No joke, how do you find time to do anything else?

Curious question: how many of those are money leagues?

To the first question, I don't, which is why I'm not doing well in a lot of them. I'm never having this many teams again. It is torture.

And to the second, none are. I broke.

vlad is the anchor for my offense in both winner leagues....i'm 3rd in the 1st league, about 4 points behind the leader and 1st in my 2nd league, ahead by 10 points, and in the top 1000 on yahoo....

First round is doing okay, it has been 2-5 that have been killing me.

13 - Halladay
24 - Chavez
25 - Renteria
36 - Beckett

Still in third though...

How the heck did Vlad drop to 12th? I had him and many at the cafe too, at #4 overall. 12th? Thats crazy

Prior round 1, Manny round 2, Renteria round 3, Rolen round 4, Oswalt round 5: I'm in first by 11.5 games (yahoo public league - it's a joke...after this year, I'll be searching the classifieds here for a couple competitive leagues).


League #2 (81-40-9) Note: Exactly the same record as my first league! Crazy!

A-Rod round 1, R.J. round 2, Tejada round 3, Oswalt round 4, B. Giles round 5: I'm in first by 8 games (yahoo "winners" league - at least most of these managers are active).



League #3 (81-58-17)...I guess 81 wins is a little theme I have going right now.

A-Rod round 1, Mags round 2, R.J. round 3, Sexson round 4, Oswalt round 5: Private 12 team league - I'm in second...behind by 11 games. Sexson going down took a chunk out of my offense...and Mags missing so much hasn't helped much either.

I had the #2 pick overall and Selected A-rod. I was excited when I found out I had the #2 pick because I knew I would have A-rod or Pujols. Now I wish I didnt though, cause both Vlad and Manny went in the Second round in my draft. Somoen got both Soriano and Vlad in rounds 1 and 2. If I had a later pick I could have gotten either Soriano, Helton and Beltran and either Vlad or Manny.

The rest of my draft was bad, and I dont want to talk about it.
made too many mistakes like Drafting Pierre over Crawford and many other mistakes as well.

In my 14 team league Helton dropped to me at no. 9 and I took Sheff with my next pick.
