I got Thome with 8th pick in the draft. Then I drafted Wood and Pettite in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. During the spring (while Schmidt was DLed), I was able to deal WOod and Pettitte for Berkman and Schmidt.

Drafted Helton 1st round and Vlad 2nd round.

Happy so far. Wish I would've taken a pitcher earlier tho. I'm stuck with Colon and company.

Haven't the peeps in your league ever played fantasy baseball before? To let Vlad fall to the second round is criminal. Of course Soriano fell to the second in our draft so I guess we are just as dumb sometimes :*)

In my league, we use OBP and SLG as categories, not AVG.

I got Bonds in the 1st round, 5th pick overall and he's amazing with those categories.

2nd round, 20th pick--Curt Schilling.
3rd round, 29th pick--Scott Rolen
4th round, 44th pick--Jim Thome
Roger Angell: I was talking with Bob Gibson and I said: 'Are you always this competitive?' He said: 'Oh, I think so. I got a three-year old daughter, and I've played about 500 games of tic-tac-toe with her and she hasn't beat me yet.'

WOW! No joke, how do you find time to do anything else?

Curious question: how many of those are money leagues?

First round is doing okay, it has been 2-5 that have been killing me.

12 - Vladdy
13 - Halladay
24 - Chavez
25 - Renteria
36 - Beckett

Still in third though...
