Why is nobody talking about Omar?

No, not Vizquel. Omar Infante on the Tigers. He's 22 years old, has awesome eligibility (2b, SS, and 5 games away from 3b) and his stats are quite impressive. For the season he is: .299 with 6 HRs and 5 steals in 70 games. But for the last month, he is hitting .333 with 3 HRs and 2 steals.

Owners in 12 team mixed or AL only leagues should be considering him I think. Anyone know the scoop on him?

He's made a great leap of improvement this year. Whenever I go with my buddies to see the Tigs we bring our "To Infante and Beyond" sign and do the OMAHHHHHHHHH chants. Vina going on the DL might have been a blessing in disguise because Infante could very well be the 2b of the future for Detroit. I believe he'll continue to have a breakout year.

picked him up 2 weeks ago to fill in for Renteria and Vidro when they sit out...very pleased! Thinking about putting him in my UTIL spot.

don't know. but think he is a better season long option than polanco, d'angelo or hudson?

I am thinking of making the switch, jsut hope i am not getting him at the end of the streak.

I'm interested in learning more about Infante. I am juggling between mediocre 2b like Wiggington, Polanco, and Bellhorn. What is this guys ceiling? Was he a highly touted prospect? I'm not really familiar with him but would like to learn more...

Does anyone have any projections on Infante? I am in the thick of a pennant race in my h2h league, and I seem to be the only one doing it without a good 2b. I've gone through so many already...I don't know if I should go with Infante and hope for the best or pick up someone like Kennedy, Polanco, Wiggington, or Alomar.
