Whats up with Juan Pierre?

I did a search on this and didnt see too much around here about him. Whats going on with Pierre? He has been basically on pace with Sanchez over the last month, but whats his problem? Is he going to pick it up this yr, is he battling injuries? Any insite would be greatly appreciated - even links to recent threads about him that I may have missed would help.

I'm trying to trade for him right now...I'm hoping it's not injury related. His value most likely can't get much lower.

He doesn't have the unlimited green light like he used to since Mckeon is manager. It doesn't look like he has lost a step, but he is being thrown out with a higher frequency. That being said, he is still on pace for a .300 season with 40sb's, and 50 rbi's which will surpass his career high. I don't know why everyone thinks he is doing so poorly, I realize his main value is in SB's and he is no longer the league leader, but he is still contributing and 40 total sb's isn't too shabby.

No it isn't, but the bigger picture is what is important, no? If he steals at that pace for the rest of the season we are all in trouble...but I'm inclined to think he will improve.
