Abreau is definitely deserving. I'm surprized that he didn't make it in on the initial voting.

Thomas or Konerko were both more deserving than Hideki.

I thought so at first too but after looking at the numbers it's a toss up IMHO.

Matsui .282 HR 16 RBI 54 R 57
Thomas .271 HR 18 RBI 49 R 53
Konerko .281 HR 21 RBI 55 R 39

I wouldn't call that a tossup, considering that Konerko and Thomas have better numbers.

Thomas .434 .563 .997
Matsui .382 .498 .880
Konerko .372 .552 .924
