A: There are skid marks in front of the dog.

means they didn't want to hit the dog

Ok, I'm an idiot. :-D

I still didn't think they were all that funny, though.

Maybe I took this the wrong way but to me this suggests he was shot.

I just see these jokes as attacking the people of New York rather than being just some stupid jokes about the Yankees.

No, the joke implied the dog was hit accidently, the Yankees fan intentionally.

They're just some silly jokes. I thought they were funny, I'm not a Yankees fan or a BoSox fan. I used those same jokes all the time with the subject (in this case Yankees) being interchangeable.

Oh well, my bad. I never heard them before so I assumed they were made up to attack New Yorkers.

Nearly all of those jokes have been done about other groups of society, only the name of the group was switched to Yankee fan. The dead dog one, the lips moving, the stamp one, the fax one, the joke on monday. I've heard ALL of those about different groups. Come up with something much less generic and maybe it'll be funny.

The Chuck and Jackson one does make sense either, because Chuck could always use his glove, he just couldn't throw with his non-glove hand.

Do we really need to bust out Pedro's quote- (paraphrased because I don't remember it exactly) "I wish the Yankees would just go away. Then we'd be winners."

As for Yogi, he's just Yogi. The fact that he played for the Yankees had no effect on his comments.

I've heard all those jokes before, except they weren't for Yankee fans, they were racist jokes. Kinda funny, as long as you don't take them literally.

The Yankees have become a race? 8-o Hmmm......Guess all major league teams better go get a Yankee now, or be considered racist. 8-o

yep, seen 'em all before. pretty funny the first few times you hear it. ive seen the same jokes with Red Sox fans in place of Yankee fans... no big deal. they're all over the net.
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.
