Vernon Wells (only b-team because he's injured)
Jermaine Dye
Carlos Lee
Preston Wilson
How would you rank them for the rest of the season?
This field, this game, it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh people will come Ray, people will most definitely come.
1. Vernon Wells
2. Carlos Lee
3. Jermaine Dye
4. Preston Wilson
I rank Wilson last because of the possibility he could get traded and that drops his value tremendously. I also am worried about how he'll rebound from the injury (he's been bad so far). Jermaine Dye should have plenty of hot streaks in the 2nd half with the way Oakland always catches fire.
Carlos Lee is not a B league OFer
Wells
Wilson
Dye
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.

I would say that with what Lee has done this year he is definately not an A-team outfielder, he has the potential but i still dont see much power from him...and remember that we will probably have to wait until August to finally get Wells back on the field, not good for him

Could be sooner than that. But when he does come back he'll out-perform them all. He's a stud.
Have you seen Lee's numbers this year? No power what so ever.
Dye - having a great year
Wells - when he comes back he should be ready to go
Lee - no power or any glimpse of last years numbers
Wilson - hasn't look the same since coming back
I just don't see Wilson doing anything and Carlos seems to have lost some power. I don't think it will come back to him in the second half. Of course, he and Dye could switch spots if Dye goes back to his "old" ways.
I see Wells picking back up if he can avoid the injury bug.
I would expect Carlos Lee's power numbers to increase in the 2nd half. Last year, his numbers skyrocketed after the All Star Break. He should finish with close to 25 hrs, which is not elite status, but far from medicore.

Not to pick on you, cause I agree with you for the most part. But you say Dyes old ways like he has been bad in the past. He was hurt the end of 2002 and off and on through out 2003. Take away those numbers and he has always performed.
