Yahoo league question (about waivers)

if you I drop a player to pickup someone on waivers, can I use the player I drop that day or will I give that up by dropping him?

I know if I drop I player today I still can use him today.

so does that apply to when you pickup someone off waivers?

Player you drop you can use the same day.
Player you pick up you get to use him next day, not same day.

May depend on your leage add/drop waiver rules though.

It appears that you have answered your 1st question already. For your 2nd question I believe, to the best of my knowledge, that say your waivers go through tomorrow... then you can still use the player that you dropped - tomorrow, while the guy that you picked up will not be on your actual roster until the following day. Hope that helps!
