He is my 7th string starter and I am a little gun shy of letting him start tomorrow, being in Houston and also facing the lethal Bagwell-Berkman-Kent combo. Does anyone recall how safe he is to start? When he loses, does he tend to get shelled or only get banged up for 4 or 5 runs?

in parks like colorado and houston, i only start the best pitchers... not my midrange guys.... see too many big offensive games in those parks...

you must have a strong staff with woody as your 7th stringer. i think hes a sleeper. i got him late, but i think he'll have a very productive year as the #2 on a very good team. start him,, i am.

He's 5-2 lifetime with about a 2.50 ERA lifetime against HOU.
I started him too - 6 scoreless innings and the all-important W.

Yeah, at the last minute I decided to toss him in there and am glad I did. The combination of how and Wood today really helped my ailing ERA.
