Don't know, but I am interested in guaging other people's opinion on this guy. He seems to be stepping it up a bit. The SBs are nice. But is he worth starting in most leagues?

Thanks, I have to question the pickup also. I have Hairston Jr but I am not counting on him to continue putting up quality #'s. I sure could use a quality backup plan.

I, too, am interested in learning about Freel. His 14 SB's and everyday playing time could be an asset if he keeps up performing. I have no room for him now, but once he gets 2b eligibility he could be an asset, no?

He'll continue playing pretty much regularly, however, watch out for Wily Mo Pena. He has the much higher ceiling and will likely get the majority of starts in the OF for the injured Kearns. However, Freel will continue to be the ultimate utility player, playing mostly at 3rd, until Brandon Larson finds the bat he left in the Minors.
