Sabathia 2nd half predictions

Postby issyg67 » Wed Jul 07, 2004 12:22 am

Traded for this guy after he got rocked in his last start. Will his shoulder be a problem in the 2nd half? Will his ERA and WHIP be anywhere close to where they are now?

I don't think it will affect him much. Expect about the same type of stellar numbers.

I think if the Indians have a set closer and he starts doing his job, he should get more wins.

Wickman or Riske whoever it maybe.

LOL :-D . Thankfully Colon isnt still mentoring him with the Tribe like Sabithia's rookie year. They could each be over 350#'s bye now if so.........., lol.

Sabithia predictions for the 2nd half................ 5-8 Wins, 3.50 - 4.20 ERA, 1.45 WHIP, 75-90 K's. Above average all around numbers, he just wont get the run support to end up with an impressive win total.

Pretty good, he is still only 23 years old. Seems like he would be older than that considering he has been around for a few years. With all the good young players the Tribe has I think C.C. is a nice guy to have in a keeper league.
