Alright, since Sexson has been down, I have been playing musical 1b, with much success I might add. I have been trying to acquire a top 5 1b with no luck. After 3 weeks of talks concerning the likes of Konerko, Helton, Ortiz and D. Lee, I notice that Teixeira is lighting it up. On top of that, D. Young just gains 1b eligibility this past weekend, and with Casey out, Dunn is 2 games shy. So the question is, which of of these 3 guys has a better half? My league counts AVG, HR, RBI, BB, R, SB, KO(the count against you) and Errors.
If it's a points league where Ks count as negative points Dunn is an absolute cancer. I say Tex.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
Tex has the most upside. Not only is he loaded with talent and has a terrific work ethic, but plays in a great hitters park as well. Dunn will hit his homers, but his K's are going to hurt. I think Tex is the complete package.
