Anyone interested in buying tickets? I have two but very unfortunately cannot get off work (have to work noon-9pm on tues).

Bonds won't do it. He's claimed last year to be too good (not in the sense that he'd win it) for it. :-t

Bonds didn't do the Derby last year becuase he was upset or something... :-/

Bonds is an aging man without a ton fuel left in his tank. He is going to save his energy for when he needs it. I do not see anything wrong with that.

I think there have been quite a few cases in the past where players that did not make an All-Star team hit in the HR derby.

Just becuase a player wins the event doesn't give them a free ticket. What if Player X wins it and retires ;-)
