Considering Jose's awesome batting with the Giants, would it be a good idea to trade him this early for some other proven quality player? Or I should I hold on to him and and hope that he keep it up? Any thoughts?

Trade him, and if you have Reggie Sanders, trade him too. When a player's value is at its peak, there's only one place it can go - down. Buy low, sell high.

tough call. I just traded him and piazza for bonds, but who knows WHAT'S going to happen with him. I say trade (obviously), because his value will never be higher, and he's not going to hit .357 and 150 HRs this year. also, he's not going to steal much, i wouldn't think.

i have him in both my leagues, i half want to trade him, but the other half is thinking 'what if' he has a great total season... hitting before bonds, does do wonders...

Me too...Just the thought of him hiting behind Ray Duham and in front of Rich Auilia and Barry Bonds sometimes gives me the goosebumps...Anyways, with Giles on my team going to the the DL, I hink I'll just hold on to Jose for as long as he produces good numbers...

I just traded Reggie Sanders for Jose Cruz about a week ago. I think Cruz will have a lot of upside this year in that lineup. Now, who's next.....
