If your doing a lot of video/music mixing, they are great, but I always hated MACs because they seem to be less compatible with everything on the net and you can't get any good games for them. I have a DELL and have loved it so far. No problems, runs smooth. But if you can get more for your money do it as long as you get the same security and warranty of somewhere like Dell.

Eh, this used to be true but not so much anymore. Is there an Apple store by any of you cause the one here is pretty good. Not only do I think they are the best for videos and music (iTunes, iMovie, etc) but the newer ones can handle games as well.

And most Apples aren't terribly expensive, depending on what features you're looking for.

tigerdirect is my one stop shopping source. I've bought a top of the line reconditioned PC for under $600, single parts to build my Linux server PC for under $250, and all sorts of Go-Go gadgets utilities. I give them ;-D ;-D

WHA?? like what? The apple only web browser has a buit in pop up blocker, and can read everything. Real TIme, Flash, Windows Media player and quicktime. Also Apple has Ichat which is the best IM program out there. Letting you have a 4 way video chat. The only probelm with a mac: u can't mod an imac, but you CAN build your own mac for about the same price as a regular computer. All you do is get a diff mother board and one other EASY Thing which I forgot. Also, Apple has the best support program out there. Go to a store and they will solve your problem or call them up. If someone still thinks that Apple Computers are below the bar set for computers then they haven't looked into apple in the last few years. yes they cost you some extra cash but remeber the moto: You buy crap you get crap, and Apple isn't crap. I still hate Macs. For example, can I play Far Cry on a Mac?

Yea you can. I play PC games on my mac. You go and buy (or download) Virtual PC for 20 bucks or so and then you can run PC programs or play PC games on your mac.
