Just letting you know - Bowa said in his press conference last night that Jimmy's been playing his tail off and will get the night off tonight.

Nope, he played - 2/4 with a double and a run. I saw the Mets game thus I saw him playing.

I'm talking about tonight - 7/6/04. Bowa in his conference after the first game of the series - last night - said Jimmy would have tonight off.
Got me?

I dont see his play tailing off at all, but OK Bowa.
They night off is fine, but man does Bowa suck as a manager.

"Playing his tail off." Not tailing off.
He's been working really hard to keep up his nice numbers. He hasn't had a day off in a while. That's Bowa's reason.

Thanks for the advanced warning. I don't have Rollins anymore, since someone dropped Furcal, but I'm starting to wonder if Rollins will actually outproduce Furcal. I don't know whether to drop Furcal, since i have no one really droppable and get Rollins back. What do you think?

That's tough. Furcal seems to be finally heating up and when he does, he's dangerous. I guess the X Factor this year is the protection Furcal used to get - especially last season. He had all those bats behind him that he doesn't have anymore.
Rollins is the one in front of the big offense this year. If Rollins keeps up his numbers, I'd say he's a better option this year. Post your roster - maybe you don't even need him.
