From Rotoworld:
Eric Chavez went 2-for-3 with an intentional walk as Triple-A Sacramento's DH tonight.
Chavez could play third base on Tuesday. "I definitely feel like I'm ahead of schedule," Chavez said. "I'm not feeling any symptoms. I just want to get back to Oakland as soon as I can." Jul. 6 - 1:45 am et
Same problem here. I'm in an OPS league and Young and Teixiera have quite possibly a better chance to outproduce Chavez the rest of the way. I'm wondering if I should just trade Chavez. I drafted him too soon, thinking that 3B was a weak position. In actuality, I got two guys off FA who might hvae better years than my 4th, 5th round selection of Chavez.

My guess is that Chavez is gonna do some damage the 2nd half... his overall stats will probably be better than Tex's... better average, fewer Ks, HR and RBIs will be similar.
Haven't those guys hit really good though for your platoon? I know Blake has had an underrated year.
I'm not downing Chavez, but I really overspent on him. I had no idea how similar guys like Teixeira and D. Young really were to him. I thought the 3B were A-Rod, Rolen, and Chavez then the rest. It looks like there's a ton more like Ensberg, Blalock, Teixiera, etc.
Great to hear that Chavez is coming back soon! Now the million dollar question becomes- which of these three guys to bench- Nomar/Chavez/Arod?!? It is a great problem to have I know but still not sure what to do.
