Carlos Guillen or Jack Wilson for the rest of the year?

I like Wilson, but flip a coin. They're both putting up out of character #'s.

Carlos Guillen by a decently wide margin. Wilson is no where near this good but Carlos Guillen has always had this kind of potential.

I would also opt for Guillen.

both guys kinda fall into the "sell high" category a lil for me.. Jack Wilson's offense has kinda been a surprise... still one of the top three defensive SS in the game. no doubt. ;-D

anyways, im pickin Gullien based on a few things... hes more experienced, hitting in a better linup and more importantly in the three hole which gives him a big advantage in terms of just run production over Wilson who fills up the 2 hole in a weak NL offense. he also has more power while Wilson hasnt shown nearly enough speed to make me give him a significant or even a clear edge in steals.
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

Guillen has been much better fantasy-wise and I see no reason for Wilson to play better than him the rest of the way.

Agreed, completely. I'd prefer neither. Rather get a buy low guy like Furcal, O-Cab, or Reyes, who may be attainable for either.

You really could take O-Cab? I think I would take Guillen just for the lineup he's in rather than the ExNos.

I weight past season stats way too highly in Fantasy...I try to go with safer picks...I hate picking hot streaks and stuff...

I think O-Cab's going to have a decent rest of the year. I mean, he'll probably run more than normal with that terrible lineup. The power can't just disappear, even though the Rs and RBIs won't be great. I still don't think a guy like him can be that bad.
