why is Jack Wilson still underated ??

Postby jbones733 » Mon Jul 05, 2004 7:58 pm

i just looked in my 2nd league, & found jack Wilson on waivers - 10 team league, but still, I immediatley plugged him in as my SS, leads NL in hits & no one really talks about him, at least i never hear anyone talking about him

the owner in my main league raves about him & i see why

It's getting really hard to say he's a fluke now that halfway thru the year he is hitting 343/8/34. He could very well be onto a 320/14/65/10 year, which is pretty damn nice for a waiver wire guy. I've been a disbeliever and benched him most of the year for Furcal, just waiting for the f'er to finally get going, big mistake so far! The best part about him is he's fun to watch and an easy guy to like!

You do realize that means he would be playing poorly the rest of the way. If someone needs a SS, he's an excellent sell high candidate as the Bucs fade into oblivion the rest of the way.

Forget the man crush. I drop what I'm doing to watch Zack Greinke pitch.

I think that I may be one of the few people on earth that actually drafted him, instead of picking him up from the WW. And he's made me look like a genius thus far, though I don't think this will continue. His swing hasn't changed enough to warrant this sort of productivity burst.
