I dont think he is going anywhere, he had a horrible first half up to this point. Now he is just on a shitty little hot streak. and the reason he has 5 jacks is because Texas is hot now, meaning more at bats for his hot streak to feed.
Possibly, but he has the potential and he is killing the ball, so it is possible that he is ready to finally jump to a higher level and be a reliable starter

This would coincide we me trading him last week.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
um yeah, big Tex is gonna mash the ball in the second half and is living up to his preseason potential. I'm inclined to believe that the naysayers are the ones that A.) got killed by Tex this week in a H2H league or B.) gave up on Tex earlier in the year and dropped him.
Yeah I traded for him about a month and a half ago for Overbay and thought when I made the trade I ripped him off as Overbay was truely playing over his head, however time went on and Overbay has far from cooled and is probably a legit player and thankfully Tex has heatd up to offset that a little
Precise, I did neither A or B, i just think he isnt that good. And i alos think hank blalock is god. I did trade Blaock for chavez though and starting to regret it.

Ability-wise, i'm not putting Tex up there with Blalock or Chavez at all. But before the year started, many pegged Tex as having 40 hr potential. As far as fantasy production is concerned, he may well match the production of the top 3basemen over the rest of the season.
He has certainly done that over the 5 weeks. he had 7hr in june and already has 3 in july. A "shitty little hot streak" is what bret boone is doing this week. But 5 weeks of impressive production is far from shitty and far from little.
