My dad was a Dallas fan but never followed football closely. I never did either until about 2 years ago when I was introduced to Fantasy Football. Stuck with my old team and am happy I'm getting into football while the Cowboys might not suck as much as they did over the past decade.

I don't really know why everyone thinks Dallas fans are frontrunners but maybe that's just because I haven't followed football for long. I would just think that if you're a frontrunner, wouldn't you have ditched the Cowboys over that long string of 5-11 years? :-b

they are still "america's team" (for football anyways)

I'm a Sox Fan and a Bears fan.

theres no way my two favorite teams could not be from my hometown unless my hometown didnt have any teams (Sorry, Iowa).

In other, non-related news: The Chicago Fire of the MLS are moving to my hometown of Bridgeview, IL, which is good because it gives me a team to cheer for that will actually win something :,-(

I'm the say way. I'm a Mets, Giants, Knicks and Islanders fan. I couldn't imagine not rooting for the home team. Even though I had to move from NY because of work I couldn't fathom chaning allegiances now. ;-)

The Mets sweep cost Trans and me our final picks in Wicked Weekend - we both had Vaz beating the Mets on Sunday. :-[

Anyway - I dont care if your hometown team sucks - you suck it up and root for them anyway.

I'm all home-town too except for football. I don't really know why either. I'm Yankees, Cowboys, Knicks, Rangers.

Don't be surprised if NE doesn't make playoffs. Over the past few years, Superbowl teams miss the playoffs the following season.
