Did anyone else see the Mets-Yankees series other than me?

Sweep Sweep...
To the Mets, from a Red Sox fan, THANK YOU. We're still a LONG way behind the Yankees, but if they had taken 2/3 games in this series, we would be impossibly way back.

Going to huge someday.
I think the Sox should send Ty "Yankee-Killer" Wigginton a fruit basket.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Sorry, but that can't be done. It's against the rules of Moneyball to send or receive fruit baskets. Like the bunt, they've been deemed useless by these "experts" who think they know more about the game than the guys who actually play it.
By the way, isn't it neat the way you can't even see the strings that are attached to both Terry Francona and Art Howe?
How cool it feels to be neutral in this argument with me liking both teams equally, I just like NY except for the Jets, die hard Giants fan.
But anyways, this series had some pop this year and could be a real beginning to something meaningful this year for the death stadium-ers. As for the yanks their fans will argue that they spent so much time and energy with the sawx that they expected a bit of a letdown, and I guess I'll buy that.
Forget the man crush. I drop what I'm doing to watch Zack Greinke pitch.

Yeah we got swept. But we were close in the last two games, so I'm happy about that. A little rest and getting everyone healthy should send the Yankees on a tear after the ASB. Unfortunately the Sox got blown out of the water by Atlanta again so a good AL East race isn't apparent.

Yeah, me too. I "like" both teams equally. It reminds me of something my father used to say: "My favorite team is the Mariners, and my second favorite team is whoever is playing the Yankees."

He admits it?
I guess the "Sucktrapolitans" aren't as bad as you thought....
