Jun 30 Perez has been diagnosed with biceps tendinitis in his shoulder. The Dodgers' lefthander had an MRI exam scheduled for Tuesday, which was intended to rule out anything more significant than tendinitis, but Perez suffered an adverse reaction to his anti-inflammatory medication and didn't undergo the exam.
Advice: Perez won't make his scheduled start on Friday, but the Dodgers believe he may be ready to start a game over the weekend against Anaheim. For the season, Perez is 4-3 with a 2.96 ERA in 16 starts.
Jul 2 Dodgers LHP Odalis Perez will miss his regularly scheduled turn on Friday after an MRI revealed he had shoulder tendinitits. "I can't tell you when he'll pitch, but I think he's going to miss a start," team physician Frank Jobe told the Los Angeles Times. "We'll see how he is in the next couple of days."
Jul 4 Associated Press reports the Los Angeles Dodgers placed SP Odalis Perez (rotator cuff) on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to June 27.
First it was biceps tendintitis then shoulder tendinititis then rotator cuff. I don't know is this all the same thing?
