His positions (1B and OF) are rather deep, making him a Utilityman type guy. Add in the fact that Petco isn't too kind on lefty power hitters in the long run and his value isn't too high.

Nevin is currently 5th among 1b in RBIs, 11th in BA, and 8th in HRs. In any league larger than 8 teams, he's a legit starter at 1b, not just utility.
