If for some odd reason (and that reason would have to be very odd indeed) Jason Bay happens to be on the waiver wire in your league, I HIGHLY recommend adding him. In game two of tonight's double dip, he is 3/4 with a HR and 6 RBIs. ESPN lists him at 85.8 percent owned currently, and that number figures to be rising fast, but for those of you in Yahoo public leagues, unless you already have an OF of Beltran, Vlad, and Manny or something sick like that, this guy is a very solid pick up. He has a career batting average of around .290 and a career OBP of around .380 and is a legit threat for 15/10 the rest of the way out.
I've been using Bay in my deeper leagues for the past 2-3 weeks, and he's been more than just a solid outfielder.
(and perlick, as for the thread's title, I'm just kidding around, but you'd be justified in saying that Bay ought to be owned in any league worth it's salt.)
