I think this post is in the perfect spot because I have been wanting to talk about this fella Tadano. From what I watched of him last time he pitched he is filthy. Real funky windup and crazy breaking pitches. I wonder why he isnt in the rotation? They said the only reason he wasnt regarded as an Ichiro or Matsui type is the gay porn. Otherwise he would of been highly touted like them. I would love to see him get a shot.

everyone is under the impression that he wasn't good enough to play in japan, or just isn't playing there for no good reason - but he was supposed to go 1st overall in the japanese draft - but after the porn incident, no one took him.

maybe a good japanese prospect playing in america for his whole career, will work out better than coming over here in his late 30s.

I'd say if there's any shot a rookie starter goes Willis on the league it's Tadano.

Royals suck so that pretty much eliminates Greinke. Wins aren't of great importance to me in Roto, but I don't want a guy that will go 3-12 either....

I have to agree with this, I feel Tadano may be a big sleeper right now, last time out he went 6 innings, 1 run allowed, 4 hits and 9 K's. Now he goes 7 innings, 2 runs, 4 hits, 10 K's. The K numbers are high and nobody seems to be able to adjust to his offspeed pitches. Rotoworld says the Indians will probably give him a permanent rotation spot.

Admit....I have not seen alot of him...so the question begs....Is that WHIP due to a bad outing...and not enough innings to counter it....or does he have another problem...

I caught him 2nite, but 2nite was the first time.

I don't think he's a great bet for the long haul, but anything can happen the first time around the league. And if it's any indication, he's a lot more effective starting than relieving.
