do u think this could happen? lowry, alfonso, ransom (or minor) for sweeny and berroa?

highly doubt it as berroa just signed a new contract this year.

I dont think they will trade for a 1B just bc Snow is such a good defender, forget about his batting for a minute.

The rumor that I like is Randy Johnson. It fills our main need and we can give up some young P to a rebuilding, out-of-the-race, manager-less D'back club. Our chance is now while Barry is around and in order to do well, Schmidt needs some help.

A local radio station brought up Randy Johnson as a possibility. One of the hosts is a Giant fan so it's a bit of wishful thinking on his part, but Randy and Schmidt is a DANGEROUS combo, especially with Bonds in the lineup.
