From ESPN:
Acquired pitcher Andrew Shipman and a player to be named later from the Boston Red Sox in exchange for pitcher Jimmy Anderson; assigned pitcher Andrew Shipman to Daytona of Florida State League (A).
Pretty heavy hitters huh?

jimmy anderson is walking proof that anyone who can throw 85+ with their left arm can likely find a job in MLB
edit: tho it was nice of the cubs to do this for hte guy, as he prolly isnt going to get much of a shot with the cubs for the rest of the year. amazingly enough, jimmy cleared waivers no sooner than like 2-3 weeks ago, so for the cubs to get something for him is kinda shrewd. and nice.
