Where do we file a notice if we've twice had otherwise strong H2H weeks ruined by having to play against a Manny/Ortiz combo? How are you possibly supposed to keep up? I had to go overpay for Vlad in a trade just to prepare myself to meet this other team in the playoffs.

Opinion, you can be a republican and vote Kerry- You also dont have to have Ortiz on your roster to vote for him. Simply trade Vlad for a stud pitcher and Ortiz and join the movement.

Funny, but impossible. If I weren't playing friends but in a public league, I'd think the owner with Manny & Oritz might actually be Theo Epstein. Besides Manny & Ortiz, he has six other Sox. I'm tempted to grab Pokey off the wire just as future trade bait with this crazy b-----d.
And please, call me ape.

I'm no Yankee (or Yankee fan) apologist, but that is just stupid. I'm sorry, but I get sick and tired of people riding Yankee fans as bitter, and all the other crap they are called.

excellent point... and I am so glad he does. Its not just the Green Monster that keeps Ortiz in BOS with a mediocre contract, its that other monster hitting behind him.

Every time he plays the Jays he kills them; one series in April he had game winning homeruns against them two games in a row, one of them in extra-innings!
I am a Jays fan, but they're god-awful this year...
