even if you could cook an egg on vidro's forehad at the moment, i'd still stick with mister burrell.
i dont know off the top of my head if burrell is a 2nd half player or what, though i do know he has a picture in the dictionary next to a pair of soiled underwear right by the word "streaky"
he's had cold spells, like that of a month where he'll hit ~.200/3/10, but then he could go ~.300/5/15 in a week. his overall #s are good, and even tho i think kidd vidro is up to 10HR and ~20-30 RBIs, i do know that early on in the year he had a laughable # of runs scored, and that still is low at this point.
that and i think burrell is going to end up around 30/100, maybe like 25-27 HRs at the lowest, conversely ~85 RBIs at the lowest, but i'm thinking he could end up like .275/32/108 or something, numbers which vidro hasn't even approached even in his career year, which i think was like .330/24/98 a few years ago.
not to mention, burrell's lineup is stacked, he's either got both abreu and thome in front of him (tho at the rate thome is whacking those homeruns, that might spell RBI-OP trouble for mister burrell) and with that factor, i'd say burrell is more likely to provide better overall #s from here on out.
vidro is at a more scarse position tho, so if you think he's going to be a stud and seriously contend with a slugging outfielder for HR/RBIs, then you might want to try and get him. tho i think burrell is more of a sure thang.
