If say.....Shawn Green and Brandon Webb are free agents, then it's a shallow league.

If you are just trying to find someone who actually gets playing time, then it's a deep league.

Hopefully, that makes it a little more clear. :-D

Oh, and Welcome to the Cafe' Opinion Ape. ;-D

Score! Not only was I right, but I helped obfuscate an otherwise clear issue and brought a moderator back into the convo (albeit a mod who's a very active "regular guy poster" as well). Get used to it!

Okay, now I'm very late for work...

btw ape - where does the "cry your pardon" come from. Are you a fan of the Gunslinger/Dark Tower? because that's the only place that I've heard that one before.

Totally! That's cool that you know it. I started using it as a goof with my friends and apparently it has entered my vocab permanently . . . I have Wolves of the Callah on my nightstand To Be Read as we speak. The Dark Tower is a a great series, and I ain't ashamed to admit it.

Roland rules! ;-D Wolves is waiting to be read as soon as I can pry myself away from the computer for awhile. :-o What's actually kind of amazing is that "Song of Susanna" is already out in stores. That's part VI and I haven't read part V yet. 8-o I really need to get my reading caught up. :-D
Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Wolves is very good.

Not as good as Wizard and Glass but excellent none-the-less.
I am torn between shelling out the big bucks for Susanna in hardcover or waiting for it to come out in paperback.

Maybe I'll try to find my library card.

King's really picked up the pace of publishing early Dark Tower books vs. late ones. That man is some sort of unholy writing machine; regardless of what you think of the product, he sure can fill pages quickly.

Just to bring this a little less OT, just remember, every time you see your team has gone 2 for 39 and you had a four hit CGSO on your bench . . . that's just ka. And there are other worlds than these.
