I have Figgins, Edmonds, Castilla, and Preston Wilson on my team. I can only play two of them. I usaully play Wilsonand Castilla when Colorado is at home and Figgins and Edmonds when they aren't.

Is this the right strategty? Should I play Figgins all the time. I'm 6 SB behind a guy. I have Beltran and Vlad to steal a base or two all the time. We play in a points league.

your platoon would seem to be perfect. Preston is struggling right now, but that is to be expected. I would only play Edmonds till Prestons bat comes back. And the splits on Vinny show that he only usefull at home.

Wilson is starting slow. I'd play Figgins in his place. and platoon the other two.

Preston is starting slow? Personally, I just think he's continuing from last year. Don't forget the boy only hit .239 in the second half last season. ;-)

I just want him to come up to the plate. I could care what he does ... Anything, and I mean anything, so that Todd can finally see some pitches to hit this year. ...

I'd keep Figgins in considering your SB situation and the fact that he really can't hurt you... and switch between Edmonds and Castilla based on your original plan. Wait for wilson to get going before really confusing yourself.

His first half is the second half. The reason people have bad 2nd halves is they are overworked and can't handle a full season. Prestons not overworked.

um, dude, isnt a "perfect platoon" kind of like, an oxymoron?

in a perfect world, you'd have one player that you wouldnt need to platoon thus saving you a roster spot which could help you in the end.

I agreed but Castilla has 58 rbi mostly at home. So I switch Figgins for him on the road.
