I hope the astros get Ugi first if the cubs are also looking for bullpen help. We need help.

I would much rather have that Dodger deal than the Cubs deal. Sure Clement is a great pitcher but we lose a HUGE bat in our line-up and Delgado behind Manny is just a scary thought. Also IMO Clement isn't that much better than Perez anyways.
In Theo we trust!!!!!
Thanks chipper!!!!
There is such a thing called clutch and David Ortiz is the modern day definition of it

I dont see the Cubs giving Clement for Nomar. They have offense and the best rotation in the game.

I would much rather see Carl Crawford and Eddie Guardado in a Cubs uniform than Nomar. What the Cubs need is a speedy leadoff hitter who steals bases and some bullpen help. Nomar provides none of that.

Its definatly good if the sox get rid of nomar. When he leaves there is gonna be an effect like a rod leaving texas. It only hurts the team having him pouting around the dugout like a baby.
And the sox pitching is not as good as many people think. Sure they have the pitching talent but the pitchers arent pitching that great although they dont have that much run support.
I would like to see either of these deals go down.
