Making a Move for Berkman: is it worth it?

Hey guys,

I am looking to make a move for Lance Berkman, and I had a few questions regarding what to offer.

My current OF:

Beltran
Manny
Crawford
Carlos Lee
H Matsui (bench)

I have Sean Casey lying around. Would a trade deal of Carlos Lee and Sean Casey for Berkman be too much to give up? Is Berkman worth going after, or will his #s drop with Beltran's arrival?

Don't go for Berkman, your OF is stacked already. What does the rest of your roster look like? I would definitely sell high on Casey, but that's just me. The only thing with Berkman is he's a first half player (look at his career splits), so I'd stay away from him and look to trade Casey for a decent 1B and maybe a stud SP.

Yeah, your outfield is stacked. I would try to improve any questionable positions that you may have. Post the rest of your roster for futher analysis.
