i just got a widescreen laptop and on some sites for instance yahoo and msn doesnt fill up the whole screen. like yahoo only fills up the middle of the screen leaving a couple of inches on each side blank. however, the cafe fills up my screen fine. anyone know how to fix this?
Sorry, normal sized screen on my laptop. I have no answers to give.

I know... do you have a button on the front of your screen. If you do, move it over to screen width and maximize it. That's how I fixed mine. Hope this helps.
Wait, you mean the whole browser window doesn't fill the whole screen?
That's okay, that's partr of the site layout, the Cafe is made to fill everything up, other sites prefer stricter layout to prevent their sites from "falling apart" on uncommon display sizes. Mostly this comes from former print layouters who are used to strict surroundings into which to put content.

Flockers, your help is highly appreciated but my mind works simpler (although I'm not female, see thread "the female brain ) so I might have seen the more obvious solution here. Or maybe it's because I used to work in webdesign...
