My reasoning is...Montreal plays alot of closer games,Urbina may or not be traded and become someone else's set up man and Baltimore seems to wither win big or lose big
anyways, their value will be mainly determined by the save opps., which are unpredicatable for the main part, which is why i dont like "rating" closers or to an extent even drafting 'em in the early rounds.
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

There's a 1-2-3 save for Jorge already. He is your man
Has only had 12 save opps. this season before today, despite the O's winning 32 games. The worst save opp. % in the majors.
He finished May with an ERA of 2.86 but suffered through not getting regular work in June and had just 3 save opps. and his ERA took a hammering as a result.
Save opportunities tend to even out over a season and I can see this guy getting plenty from now on. The other good thing about him is that his job is safe, unlike many other lowly ranked closers.
If you need saves buy low on him now.

As in, off waivers???
You are jus trying to convince yourself that he will be a great pickup Arch! kiddin.
New Zealand Fan wrote:Yeah, if you have got anyone stupid enough to drop a decent enough closer with a secure job, then it certainly justifies a waiver pick up.
I've always been high on Julio this year Ryan, it's Bartolo Colon that I'm still trying to convince myself over
Mo, mo, mo.... I put a claim in for Julio and Konerko....but i didn't get them! Maybe it was my 10th place in the waiver line that did it
Haha, Colon is a mystery. I gotta say, I was a little shocked you did that deal. I would have given you a better starter than Colon for Griffey. Let this be a lesson: Talk to me first.
