...are the ones that are never made.
About a month ago I was frustrated with the performance of my #1 and 2 picks (Helton and Beltran respectively).
I proposed the following trades and they were all rejected:
I give Beltran
I get Pujols
and
I give Beltran, Jose Guillen, and Schilling
I get: Abreu, Burrell, Wells
and
I give Helton, Halladay
I get Gagne
I vow to be more PATIENT in the future and not serve up my studs for some instant gratification.

The first one actually would have been good for you. Pujols is the better player. The others though

Wow, I cannot believe you offer those and especially the 3rd, I can't believe it wasn't accepted.

Yeah, pretty much what I would have said. Sometimes, you just have to wait things out and let things develop.

yep, NEVER make deals just for the heck of it. fanatsy baseball 101.

Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.
